Make Differences in People's Lives.
SOCIAL EQUITY & JUSTICE
Imagine sitting in a cell for years, decades, or even for life, convicted of an activity that is no longer a crime, while thousands of other people build intergenerational wealth doing exactly the same thing. That is the situation that tens of thousands of cannabis prisoners face today in the United States alone, while countless others languish in jails and prisons worldwide.
Expungement events & restorative initiatives targeting the War on Drugs.
As the cannabis industry matures and the plant continues to enter the mainstream, we recognize that it is our responsibility to give back to and empower the communities most affected by the War on Drugs.
Restorative Justice.
Decisive action and an unwavering commitment to equity and justice are required to effectively combat the impacts of the War on Drugs within historically marginalized communities. Our holistic approach to restorative justice includes supporting expungement and record sealing, community-based resource fairs, engaging all levels of government to change the nation’s drug laws, and working to ensure that no person remains incarcerated for a non-violent cannabis-related conviction.
Community Outreach.
By engaging with diverse communities, advocates and organizations can facilitate open discussions, dispel myths, and educate about the potential benefits and risks associated with cannabis. Through informative workshops, public forums, and online platforms, the outreach efforts strive to empower individuals to make informed decisions about cannabis use, promote harm reduction practices, and support those in need of medical cannabis access.
